Blonde wood, white oak and/or maple Eastlake Occasional Table circa 1870-1890. This small table is unusual because of the light colored wood, usually they are dark wood. For that reason I think it would be easier to use in a modern home, and it doesn’t suck up all the light in the room, while still being hand carved. It has a more Swedish esthetic which is prettier and lighter. There is no makers mark on the bottom which makes it closer to 1870 in date. Brown furniture is out but the lighter woods are in.
