Vintage Design
A rare and very special statue known as “The Zodiac” by Lars Bergsten for Upsala Ekeby, Sweden, 1960s. This is a very unusual piece depicting a mans face in an abstract or graphic way, mounted on a piece of wood. Mr. Bergsten has always a very distinct design and most of his work was studio productions, this was commissioned by the prestigious Upsala Ekeby to be a part of their range with a limited production. The colour of the glazing is a dark brown with hits of green and in a very good condition. It is 21.5cm (8.46″) with the stand and around 15cm (5.90″) in diameter.
