spectacular set of seats of french origin, from the napoleon iii period in louis xvi style. This beautiful set consists of an armchair, a “chauffeuse” or armless chair with a low seat, which was used to sit near the fireplace, and a small stool, footstool or footstool. All of them upholstered in a dry green velvet finished with studs, accompanied by two small rectangular cushions to accommodate the back.

the structure of louis xvi style furniture is based on simple and geometric lines. In this case, the blade or backrest of these seats is oval or medallion in shape, a characteristic that gives it a unique personality. They rest on legs in the shape of a grooved stipe with a circular section (straight legs that taper towards the end). The armrests have a rich carving of plant elements.
