Vintage Design
Beautiful and very particular large wall mural or wall panel made of wood chipboard, printed paper and strong layer of resin cover over the paper.
Made in Italy in the 1950s.
The large panel shows a rural scene by the water or in a lagoon with busy fishermen in their boats, a bridge in the background with figures also on horseback, large ornate columns, scattered trees and other houses and buildings in the background. The big clouds are entirely in the style of Fornasetti.
The wall panel has a strong wrought iron frame, which was painted with corten varnish, which leaves a rustic impression of rust.
There are four existing holes in the panel, which came from previous wall mounting.
The panel con be mounted easily on the iron bars on the back side.
Stunning piece of art, which gives to every room the Italian mid-century grandezza.
