Super slick and sophisticated wardrobe by John Stuart, for Widdicomb circa 1960/1970s. The armoire features four leather fronted doors which open to reveal interior drawers, and a mechanical pullout mechanism from which to hang your garments. The interior also has adjustable, and removable shelfs. The lower section has six drawers, all having angular chrome plate handles. This example is in very fine, original, clean and ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. Specifically minor veneer bruise at top back corner and slight loss to veneer at back edge of side panel, both inconsequential.
Perfect piece for your wardrobe as this fine case provides ample space for folded, and hanging garments.
The black leather doors, contrasted with the vibrant exotic veneer, bright chrome handles, and aluminum trim make this piece a a bold, muscular and graphic statement, sure to complement your bedroom, dressing room space.
