Japanese Indigo Stripe and Plaid Grass Cloth Yardage

This is a deep blue-black indigo with natural slubs throughout. I’m unsure what the fiber is; it could be a rough linen or grass. It has a bouncy, stiff texture like horsehair and would be great as upholstery, but it would need to be backed. It is 103” long and 14.25” wide. The plaid part is 33”, and the stripe is 70” long. It is probably mid-century because I’ve had it for a while, and it was old when I got it.
