Vintage Design
We are selling this beautiful small Japanese Meiji cloisone vase. This vase has decoration of a central bamboo stalk with some leaves and large chrystanthemum plant all on a red ginbari type ground. The vase is surprisingly unsigned.
Condition: Small flaw on the shoulder by the end of a bamboo frond, doesn’t feel like a damage with a fingernail so might have been a firing flaw. Small hairline in enamel above bamboo stalk in border decoration. A few small areas of surface scratches.
