Japanese Bark Live Edge Wood Tray Dish 11″

Stunning mid century wood tray from Japan. It is finely turned and finished in an Organic shape with original bark on the exterior of the tray in its natural state.

Provenance: This was purchased in 1959 by a serviceman stationed in Okinawa. It was presented to his girlfriend who was a stewardess on a major airline. They were both from California and married and moved to Long Beach CA to raise their family. This little box remained in his service trunk until a few weeks ago.
