A Rare French Art Deco style cabinet / Buffet in the style of Jean-Michel Frank. The piece was likely made as a commission by a small workshop as it is a 1 of a kind piece. It is unique in that it combines modernism with a rustic sensibility. It features a modernist, architectural, Cubist inspired hardwood frame with inset bonded leather that has been patinated to simulate parchment. The leather is tacked to the frame and cut in a cubist pattern. 2 adjustable interior shelves complete the piece and allow for generous storage.
