Vintage Design
The project was one of the largest in Perriand’s career. She was then in her 60s, at the peak of her career in 1967 when she was asked to join the project to lead a team of young architects to create a ski resort in the alpine landscape.
As a feminist and socialist, Charlotte Perriand wanted to bring her egalitarian attitude to the architecture and interior design of Les Arcs. The apartments were created to be affordable and filled with beautiful and durable objects she designed specifically for each building.
Manufactured in France in the 1960s or 1970s. Made of solid pinewood.
Origin: An apartment of one of the Les Arcs ski resorts.
In good original condition, wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
