Beautiful pair of porcelain figurines representing two characters dressed in beautiful, brightly colored clothes. The man carries a seal in his hand and the woman a jug of wine. These two figurines have a signature underneath which represents the manufacturer Rudolf Kammer from Volkstedt.
Rudolf Kämmer of Volkstedt continued the noble tradition of Thuringian porcelain craftsmanship using the techniques distilled over the centuries to produce some of the finest porcelain of the 20th century. The figurines are marked at the base with the crowned K and 16L , indicating their origin at the beginning of the 20th century. Both figurines are in perfect condition. No breaks. Nice quality.
